As another part of their safety positioning Volvo limited the topspeed of all their new models to 180 km/h. This move was welcomed all around the world. Only in Germany the petrolheads and Autobahnlovers went wild and started a real shitstorm. This campaign based on insights of the most relevant Volvo user groups turned the mood. And lead to increasing sales as well.

So now even most Germans agree that 180 is enough.
